To Improve the Quality of Digital Maps, BPS Holds Training for Map Processing Officers

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - To process the results of the SE2026 Geospatial Framework and Wilkerstat Content Update activities, BPS held a Training for Geospatial Framework and Wilkerstat Content Update Officers at each BPS district/city level. This training was carried out to equip officers in processing digital maps from field activities, resulting in more accurate and high-quality digital maps.

The Acting Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, opened the event, hosted by BPS Semarang City at the MG Setos Hotel in Semarang on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The opening of the SE2026 Geospatial Framework and Wilkerstat Content Update Officer Training was also attended online by all participants from BPS districts/cities throughout Jawa Tengah.

In her remarks, Endang expressed her gratitude and deepest appreciation for the achievements of the SE2026 Geospatial Framework and Wilkerstat Content Update field activities. Endang advised all processing staff to work meticulously to ensure accurate maps. She hopes this training will serve as a forum for brainstorming and refining the Geospatial Framework and Wilkerstat Content Updates for SE2026, which will be implemented this year.
