Happy Monday x Orak Arik: Caring for Mental Health in the BPS Environment

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - Amidst the busyness of work activities and routines, maintaining mental health is a crucial key to remaining productive and happy. Recognizing this, the Jawa Tengah Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS) held a special "Happy Monday x Orak Arik" workshop themed "Mental Health" on Monday, August 25, 2025, in the 5th Floor Hall (hybrid).

The event was attended by the Acting Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, as well as staff from BPS Province and Regency/City levels throughout Jawa Tengah. In her remarks, Endang emphasized the importance of maintaining mental health, maintaining positive thinking, and the role of all BPS personnel as public relations officers capable of conveying statistical literacy to the public in simple terms.

The workshop was delivered by Kasiyati, who explored the definition of mental health, the role of individuals in various spheres of life, and how to manage emotions to generate positive energy at work and in daily life.

Furthermore, the event also served as an awards ceremony for exemplary employees. Rizchi Eka Wahyuni (Jawa Tengah Province Statistics Agency) won the Civil Servant of the Month award for July 2025. Hopefully, through this initiative, the spirit of maintaining mental health will continue to accompany us in our work and creative endeavors.
