BPS Jawa Tengah Holds 117th Commemoration Ceremony for National Awakening Day

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province held a ceremony to commemorate the 117th National Awakening Day (Harkitnas) in the yard of the BPS office, Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The ceremony was led by the Acting Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih.

With the theme "Rise Together to Create a Strong Indonesia", this year's Harkitnas commemoration is a momentum to raise the spirit of national unity and independence.

In the ceremony, the official speech of the Minister of Communication and Digital, Meutya Viada Hafid, was read, emphasizing the importance of responding to the challenges of the times through development that favors the people, digital transformation, and strengthening social welfare.

"Resurrection is not only a historical event, but a spirit that must continue to live to answer today's challenges," said Meutya in her speech.

The ceremony took place solemnly and was a reminder of the importance of moving together to build a stronger and more just Indonesia.
