KENDAL, jateng.bps.go.id - As a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Minister of Health, the Minister of Housing and Residential Areas, and the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) signed on March 27, 2025, the Indonesian Health Workers Housing Program has officially started.
On Monday, April 28, 2025, the Mass Akad and symbolic handover of keys to nurses, midwives, and community health workers in Kendal Regency, Jawa Tengah, were held at the Puri Delta Asri 9 EXT 1 Housing Complex.
In this event organized by Bank BTN, the Minister of Housing and Residential Areas, Maruarar Sirait gave a speech, marking the government's commitment to supporting the welfare of health workers who are at the forefront of public services.
Also present at the event were the Acting Head of the Jawa Tengah BPS Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, and the Director of BPS Public Welfare Statistics, Ahmad Avenzora. The presence of these two BPS officials shows the importance of synergy between the health, housing, and statistics sectors in community welfare programs. Also present were the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin; the Governor of Jawa Tengah, Ahmad Lutfi; the Regent of Kendal, Dyah Kartika Permanasari; as well as the Heads of OPD, Banks, Developers, and related Institutions.
The Housing Program for Indonesian Health Workers is expected to be able to improve the motivation and quality of life of health workers, especially in the regions, through the provision of decent and affordable housing.
