Jawa Tengah Economic Growth 2024 4.95 Percent

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - In the midst of global economic uncertainty which grew stagnant at around 3 percent, the Indonesian economy was able to grow 5.03 percent. On Wednesday, February 5 2025, the Jawa Tengah Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released Jawa Tengah's economic growth figures for 2024 of 4.95 percent. In terms of business fields, the processing industry is the sector that has the largest contribution to the Jawa Tengah economy, namely 33.84 percent.

This economic growth release was carried out in a hybrid manner, broadcast live in the 5th Floor Hall of BPS Jawa Tengah Province and distributed via YouTube Streaming. The release was delivered directly by the head of Jawa Tengah Province BPS, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, and attended by various stakeholders providing sectoral data.

Through this activity, Endang hopes that agencies/agencies can provide more complete sectoral data to support the calculation of Jawa Tengah's GRDP. The more and more complete quality data collected will provide more accurate and relevant GRDP data.
