BPS Collaborates with Bappeda and Diskominfo to Increase IPS Scores 2025

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The Jawa Tengah Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS) together with the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) and the Jawa Tengah Province Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) conducted an Evaluation of the 2024 Statistical Development Index (IPS) on Monday, December 16 2024 in the BPS 5th Floor Hall. Jawa Tengah Province. This activity was opened by the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih.

In his speech, Endang said that the 2024 IPS scores should be used as an evaluation in the implementation of sectoral statistical activities in Jawa Tengah Province. Even though the IPS score for 2024 for Jawa Tengah Province is predicated as good, the Jawa Tengah Provincial Government still needs to follow up on recommendations from the EPSS results to improve the implementation of sectoral statistical activities in 2025.

This evaluation is an important basis for the achievements and challenges faced in the coming year. In this activity, a discussion was also held regarding strategies for implementing sectoral statistics in 2025 to improve the quality of coordination, data integration and implementation of One Data Indonesia (SDI).

Together we can create quality statistics for sustainable development.
