Indonesian Mosaic: Talking about Poverty in Jawa Tengah

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province is back at Mosaic Indonesia RRI Pro 1 Semarang on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 discussing poverty alleviation.

The Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, said that eradicating poverty is not like turning the palm of your hand. The government has so far created many programs to eradicate poverty with the hope that the poor will be able to rise and meet their needs independently. However, the challenge is income inequality. So it takes coordination and collaboration from all parties to be able to run programs that are right on target, and the need for regular data updates.

On this occasion, several loyal listeners of Mosaic Indonesia Pro 1 RRI Semarang asked various questions and were answered clearly by Endang who also emphasized the importance of accurate data by providing real data. And BPS will always improve data services to the public and all data users. "BPS will continue to strive to present up-to-date data, to see the extent to which the government's efforts to realize Golden Indonesia," he said.
