BPS Trains Desa Cantik Coaches 2024

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - Villages are the spearhead of Indonesia's development, so the data produced by villages must be of high quality. The Desa Cinta Statistik Program or often referred to as the Desa cantik Program implemented by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) aims to increase literacy, awareness, and the active role of village/sub-district officials.

In preparation for the implementation of the Desa Cantik Program in 2024, BPS trained Desa Cantik Coaches from BPS Regency/City. The training was held on July 25-31, 2024 and was officially opened by the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih.

BPS Regency/City Desa Cantik Coaches consist of 35 people who are representatives from each district/city throughout Jawa Tengah, plus 4 people from the BPS Jawa Tengah Province BDesa Cantik Team as sit-in participants. The training was guided by 2 facilitators, namely Rina Kartiningrum from BPS Jawa Tengah Province and Udin Suchaini from BPS.

With this training, it is hoped that the Candidates for Desa Cantik Mentors will be able to understand the coaching materials and mentoring methods in the Desa Cantik Program, so as to produce competent BPS Regency/City Desa Cantik Mentors. (HUMAS - Pris/Gus)
