Workshop on Handling Poverty in Central Java Post the COVID-19 Pandemic

Central Java's poverty rate continues to decline as the government becomes more serious in formulating policies for dealing with poverty. However, the uncertain global economic conditions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic pose major challenges for the government.

Central Java Province BPS held a Workshop on Handling Poverty in Central Java Post the COVID-19 Pandemic on Thursday, July 18 2024 at The Wujil Resort and Conventions Ungaran. The workshop was opened by the Head of BPS for Central Java Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, and was attended by representatives of departments/agencies as well as Heads of BPS districts/cities in Central Java.

The workshop was guided by the Central Java Province BPS Intermediate Expert Statistics moderator, Harjo Teguh Ilmiana. This event presented resource persons as the Head of the Central Java Province Bappeda, Harso Susilo, and Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, Prof. Firmansyah.
