Building Better Sectoral Statistics

BPS has a role as a supervisor of statistical data in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 39 of 2019 concerning One Indonesian Data. In order to carry out its duties as a data supervisor, Jawa Tengah Province BPS held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for 2024 Jawa Tengah Province Sectoral Statistics Development on 5 - 6 June 2024. This activity, which was held in the Jawa Tengah Province BPS Hall, was attended by the Java Provincial Government OPD Central and Vertical Agencies in the Jawa Tengah Province.

The FGD was opened by the Head of Jawa Tengah Province BPS, Dadang Hardiwan. In his direction, Dadang conveyed the important role of OPD/agencies in proposing statistical recommendations and reporting statistical metadata in strengthening the National Statistical System.

In this activity, socialization was also carried out on the process of identifying statistical activities and the use of the INDAH application and the Romantic application.
