Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Dadang Hardiwan was present as a guest speaker at the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) entitled Looking at Quarter I – 2023 Achievements and Current Economic Conditions, Can Jawa Tengah Achieve the 2023 RKPD Macroeconomic Performance Targets?
The FGD which was held by the Regional Secretariat of Jawa Tengah Province, Friday (19/5) also presented speakers from Jawa Tengah Bank Indonesia Representative, Berry Arifsyah Harahap and also UNDIP professor, Prof. FX Sugianto.
In his presentation, Dadang said that, from a production standpoint, the business fields that contributed the most to Jawa Tengah's economic growth in the first quarter of 2023 were the manufacturing, agriculture and trade sectors.
Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, Jawa Tengah's economic growth in the first quarter of 2023 was supported by household consumption, PMTB and exports.
Inflation can be controlled by the availability of sufficient public needs, and evenly distributed. Jawa Tengah's potential can be used to meet community needs from existing resources.
Jawa Tengah's economy which grew solidly in the first quarter of 2023 was accompanied by job creation. This is reflected in the decrease in the Open Unemployment Rate and an increase in the working population in several sectors.
The synergy of all parties is expected to realize Jawa Tengah's macroeconomic performance in accordance with the targets set.
