Jawa Tengah's economy is getting stronger

How are you #statistics friends? Hoping for good news… such as news on Central Java's economic growth in the second quarter of 2022 which increased by 5.66% (yoy).

The increase in public consumption activities during the period of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, school holidays and the increasing mobility of the community are key factors driving economic growth in the second quarter of 2022.

In terms of business fields, the processing industry, which is the main contributor to Central Java's GRDP, was able to grow 4.06%. The tourism support sector, such as the transportation, accommodation and food and beverage sector, also grew significantly after being affected by Covid19 in 2020 and 2021. (dds)
