Children are the Future of Indonesia

Childhood is a very important period for human development. This is the optimal phase to absorb various things in shaping a person's character.

Early childhood education certainly plays a very important role. This was the initial capital before he entered basic education.

Until now, BPS continues to collect data on the percentage of early childhood (5-6 years) who have attended / are attending PAUD through the National Socio-Economic Survey. It was recorded that 55.38 percent of early childhood had / are currently attending PAUD in 2018.

UNICEF as a world organization that pays attention to children's development has established SDGs with the fourth goal, namely quality education. Of course, it is hoped that all children will be able to receive education from an early age.

"Children are the younger generation who have an important role in maintaining and continuing the ideals of the nation," Kecuk Suhariyanto, Head of BPS.
