"It is no longer the time as before, the boundary between the leadership and distant subordinates, must melt. The leader must be able to play a role," asserted Kecuk Suhariyanto, Head of BPS to all regency / city BPS heads who were present at the Technical Meeting of District / City BPS Heads Year 2018 at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta, (10/22).
The leadership role is strongly emphasized by Kecuk because it has entered the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Moreover, the theme raised in this TM is "Towards Professional BPS Human Resources to Produce Quality Data in the framework of Preparation of Gross Fixed Capital Preparation Disagreement according to Institutions and Business Fields in 2018".
"BPS HR composition, as much as 56.37 percent are Generation Y (born 1980-2000, ed.). In the Industrial Revolution 4.0, opportunities are open but competition is more intense. We must adapt because the way of thinking (Generation Y, ed.) is different," he said. Recognized Kecuk, behavior of generation Y who are technologically savvy, easy to get along with, and selectively choose leaders, demand leaders to embrace them. "Embrace these young people. We as leaders invite them. We throw ideas, they catch, and it goes," he continued.

BPS efforts in managing the current HR through 360 Performance. With 360 Performance, assessment is not only from top to bottom, but also vice versa.
On the same occasion a memorandum of understanding was signed between BPS and the Indonesian National Police for the implementation of competency assessments of civil servants in the BPS environment. The signing was carried out by Buyung Airlangga, Head of the BPS Program Development Bureau as the Proxy of BPS Budget Users and Eko Indra Hari, Assistant to the National Police Chief for Human Resources.
