Margo Yuwono, New Commander of BPS Social Statistics
Jakarta - "In the future what needs to be created is to change the climate and atmosphere in data collection. Need to have new ways, new approaches, and how to manage respondents to be an important part of our process business (BPS, red). "It needs to be built a chemistry, a good relationship, so that respondents will provide data with joy," said Deputy for Social Statistics who had just been sworn in this morning (2/8), Margo Yuwono.
For short-term targets, Margo revealed that he would finalize the preparation of the 2020 Population Census (SP2020) by looking at the results of the SP2020 Pilot which is currently being implemented in seven provinces (Sumatra Utara, Sumatra Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Kalimantan Selatan, Nusa Tenggara Timur, dan Maluku Utara). "We want SP2020 not only in the center of echo, but also in the region," he continued.
Besides inaugurating Margo, BPS Head Kecuk Suhariyanto also inaugurated several provincial BPS heads, namely Sentot Bangun Widoyono as Head of BPS in Prov. Jawa Tengah; Yos Rusdiansyah as Head of BPS in Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan; Endang Tri Wahyuningsih as Head of BPS of Provinsi Sumatra Selatan; Suntono as Head of BPS Nusa Tenggara Barat; and Win Rizal as Head of BPS in Provinsi Sulawesi Barat.
