The results of the Advanced SE2016 data collection can be used as a basis for analysis and formulation of policies including measuring the performance of Micro Small Enterprises (MSEs) by giving an overview of business characteristics, including the quality of human resources, conditions of capital accessibility, business prospects and financial performance. This information is expected to contribute to the government to help the development of MSEs both through fostering and drafting regulations that are able to protect and improve MSE performance. Thus, the role of MSEs in local economic activities is getting stronger, jobs are also increasing
