Development of Transportation Statistics in Jawa Tengah March 2025

Air Transportation

The total number of commercial air passengers departing (embarking) from Central Java in March 2025 was 101,840 people, down 10.91 percent compared to February 2025 which was recorded at 114,310 people.

The total number of commercial air passengers arriving (disembarking) to Central Java in March 2025 was 139,532 people, up 14.63 percent compared to February 2025 which was recorded at 121,728 people.

Domestic flights are only available at Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang and Adi Sumarmo Surakarta, while flights at Tunggul Wulung Airport in Cilacap, Dewadaru Jepara, JB. Soedirman Purbalingga and Ngloram Blora have not yet opened scheduled domestic flights.

International flights are only available at Adi Sumarmo Airport in Surakarta.

Sea Transportation

The total number of sea transportation passengers departing (embarking) through Tanjung Emas, Jepara, and Karimunjawa Seaports in March 2025 was 21,961 people, up 19.50 percent compared to February 2025 which was 18,378 people. Meanwhile, the number of sea transportation passengers arriving (disembarking) in March 2025 was recorded at 40,891 people, up 129.07 percent compared to February 2025 which was 17,851 people.

The total number of non-oil and gas commodity goods unloaded in tons at Jepara, Tanjung Emas Semarang, Tanjung Intan Cilacap, Tegal, and Karimunjawa Ports for domestic trade in March 2025 was recorded at 1,787,644 tons, up 10.53 percent compared to February 2025 which was 1,617,383 tons. The total volume of non-oil and gas commodity cargo in tons through the five major ports in Central Java in March 2025 was recorded at 2,399 tons, up 10.76 percent compared to the previous month which was 2,166 tons.
