Abstract

The Poverty Line in March 2023 was recorded at IDR 477,580/capita/month with a composition of the Food Poverty Line of IDR 360,571/capita/month (75.50 percent) and the Non-Food Poverty Line of IDR 117,009/capita/month (24.50 percent).
  • The percentage of poor people in March 2023 was 10.77 percent, a decrease of 0.21 percentage points compared to September 2022. When compared to March 2022, poverty fell by 0.16 percentage points.
  • In March 2023, on average, poor households in Central Java Province had 4.28 household members. Thus, it is estimated that the poverty line per poor household is IDR 2,044,042/poor household/month
