Abstract

Central Java's export value in March 2023 was US$ 905.01 million, up 10.03 percent compared to February 2023. However, when compared to March 2022, it fell by 23.42 percent.
  • Central Java's import value in March 2023 was US$ 1,266.29 million, an increase of 50.91 percent compared to imports in February 2023. Likewise, when compared to March 2022's import value, it increased by 25.54 percent.
  • Central Java's total trade balance in the March 2023 period experienced a deficit of US$ 361.28 million, which was triggered by a deficit in the oil and gas sector, while the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus. The oil and gas sector experienced a deficit of US$ 551.66 million, while the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus of US$ 190.38 million.
