Updates of Consumer Price Index / Inflation In Central Java in December 2008

In December 2008, Central Java occurred deflation of 0.40 percent in the consumer price index (CPI) amounted to 111.78. Of the four cities Cost of Living Survey, three cities got  deflation  and  inflation of the city. The highest deflation occurred in Surakarta 0.65 percent with CPI of 108.44 and the lowest deflation in Tegal 0.22 percent with CPI of 112.39, as the capital city of Semarang, Central Java Province experienced deflation of 0.42 percent with CPI of 112 , 66, while the inflation occurred in Purwokerto 0.17 percent with CPI of 113.54.
