Based on Forecast Figures III (ARAM III) Central Java rice production in 2008 is estimated at 9.14 million tons of dry unhusked rice (paddy), increase of 523.91 thousand tons (6.08 percent) compared with production in 2007. Forecast Figures III (ARAM III) Central Java maize production in 2008 is estimated at 2.60 million tons of dry seed, rose by 369.97 thousand tons (16.56 percent) compared to production in 2007.
