Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, reviewed the implementation of the Basic Competency Test (SKD) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year New Student Admission (PMB) at the Politeknik Statistika STIS at the Semarang Regional Office of the National Civil Service Agency (UPT BKN Semarang) on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The review took place during the three-day SKD, held from Saturday, September 26, to Monday, September 28, 2026. Held at UPT BKN Semarang, Jalan Soekarno Hatta Kilometer 29, Bergas, Semarang Regency, the selection process in Jawa Tengah was attended by 731 participants divided into seven sessions.
The number of participants in Jawa Tengah was part of the 12,684 participants taking the Polstat STIS PMB SKD across Indonesia. For the participants, this stage marked the beginning of a series of selection processes to gain the opportunity to pursue their education at Polstat STIS.
During his visit, Ali Said directly reviewed the test implementation and ensured that the selection process was conducted in an orderly and smooth manner. He also conveyed an important message to the participants about the values that should be upheld from the outset by those aspiring to become part of BPS.
“Prioritize honesty. If you want to become a BPS employee, begin your journey with honesty and integrity,” said Ali Said.
According to him, becoming part of BPS is not only about academic ability but must also be built upon the values of honesty and integrity. These values are important to instill from the selection process, as graduates will eventually work in fields that require trust and responsibility.
