SE2026 Supervision at Pedurungan Market: Ensuring All Businesses Are Enumerated

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id — Deputy Chief Statistician for Social Statistics of BPS RI, Nasrul Wajdi, accompanied by the Head of BPS of Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, and the Head of BPS Semarang Municipality, conducted supervision of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) at Pedurungan Market, Semarang Municipality.

The supervision was carried out to directly observe the data collection process in the field and ensure that all business operators were comprehensively enumerated in accordance with the coverage and implementation guidelines of SE2026.

Amid the trading activities at Pedurungan Market, the team engaged directly with business operators and census field officers. These interactions were essential to ensure that data collection was conducted through an appropriate approach, to help business operators understand the importance of participating in SE2026, and to ensure that no business unit was missed during the enumeration process.

Through comprehensive and high-quality data collection, SE2026 is expected to provide an increasingly complete picture of the economic conditions and activities of communities, including the growth of businesses at the local level. Comprehensive coverage is key to producing a complete picture of Indonesia’s economy.
