High Level Meeting: Jawa Tengah Strengthens Synergy to Control Inflation and Support SE2026

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id — The commitment to maintaining price stability, accelerating digitalization, and strengthening the regional economic foundation was reaffirmed during the High Level Meeting (HLM) of the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID), the Regional Digitalization Acceleration and Expansion Team (TP2DD), and the Jawa Tengah Sharia Economic and Financial Committee (KERIS).

The strategic meeting, held on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, was chaired directly by the Governor of Jawa Tengah, Ahmad Luthfi. It was attended by the Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Jawa Tengah Province, all heads of regional apparatus organizations (OPD), vertical agencies, as well as regents and mayors across Jawa Tengah. The meeting served as an important momentum to strengthen cross-sector coordination in maintaining price stability and controlling inflation, accelerating the implementation of regional government transaction digitalization, and promoting the development of sharia economy and finance, particularly ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his remarks, Governor Ahmad Luthfi also highlighted the importance of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) as a foundation for providing accurate data to support development policy formulation. He called for full support from all regional government officials to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of SE2026.

Responding to this, the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, stated that SE2026 will be conducted from May to July 2026. He invited all stakeholders to provide full support and actively collaborate to ensure the success of SE2026, so that it can produce high-quality data as a basis for more advanced and sustainable economic development planning in Jawa Tengah.

Through strong synergy between the regional government, Bank Indonesia, and BPS, Jawa Tengah remains optimistic about maintaining economic stability while strengthening the development data foundation for the welfare of the community.
