BPS Jawa Tengah Releases November 2025 Inflation Figures

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id – The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province released the latest inflation figures for the November 2025 period. In an online press conference held on Monday, December 1, 2025, the Acting Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, stated that the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate in Jawa Tengah was recorded at 2.79 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) reaching 109.43.

Based on the price monitoring in surveyed areas, the highest inflation occurred in Semarang City, reaching 2.92 percent with a CPI of 108.64. Meanwhile, the lowest inflation was recorded in Wonogiri Regency, at 2.47 percent, with a CPI of 109.75.

For the month-to-month (m-to-m) period, Jawa Tengah experienced an inflation rate of 0.19 percent, while the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate up to November 2025 reached 2.20 percent.

Endang highlighted that the inflation development reflects the dynamics of staple commodity prices toward the end of the year and serves as an important indicator in regional inflation-control policy measures.
