Accurate Data, Great Economy

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The Jawa Tengah Statistics Agency (BPS) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Socialization of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) with the theme "Accurate Data, Great Economy: Jawa Tengah Synergy to Make the 2026 Economic Census a Success" on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Harris Hotel Sentraland, Semarang.

The event was opened by the Acting Head of the Jawa Tengah BPS, Ir. Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, M.M., who stated that the Economic Census is mandated by law and conducted every 10 years to capture all economic activity in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the Keynote Speech was delivered by the Administrative Assistant to the Jawa Tengah Provincial Secretary, Dr. Dhoni Widyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., representing the Governor of Jawa Tengah, who emphasized the importance of SE2026 data for strengthening evidence-based economic policies.

The FGD also featured speakers: Harry Nuryanto Soediro, S.E., M.M. (Chairman of the Jawa Tengah Chamber of Commerce and Industry); Ahmad Fauzie Nur (President Director of PT Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma); and Primasto Ardi Martono, S.E., M.T. (Jawa Tengah Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office).

The event was attended by various stakeholders, local governments, business associations, academics, industry players, and the media. Through this synergy, the Jawa Tengah Statistics Agency (BPS) is committed to providing accurate and reliable economic data as a foundation for development policies towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.
