BPS Jateng Conducts National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) Supervision in Batang in August 2025

BATANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The Acting Head of the Jawa Tengah Statistics Agency (BPS), Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, supervised the implementation of the August 2025 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in Krengseng Village, Batang Regency, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. This activity aimed to ensure that the data collection process in the field followed procedures and to maintain the quality of the resulting data.

On this occasion, Endang directly observed the enumeration activities carried out by field officers. She also provided guidance and motivation so that officers would work with integrity and professionalism, considering the importance of Sakernas as a strategic national survey.

Endang was accompanied by the Head of the Batang Regency BPS, Heni Djumadi, along with BPS Batang Regency staff.

Sakernas is conducted twice a year, in February and August, covering a sample of households across all regencies/cities. Through this survey, BPS presents various employment indicators such as the labor force participation rate, the open unemployment rate, and employment trends.

With this supervision, it is hoped that the implementation of Sakernas in Batang Regency can run smoothly, produce quality data, and provide real benefits for the formulation of development policies in Jawa Tengah.
