OJK and BPS Collect Information on Public Financial Literacy Levels Through SNLIK

PURBALINGGA, jateng.bps.go.id - To collect information related to public understanding of how to manage finances and access to manage finances, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) carried out the National Survey of Financial Literacy and Inclusion (SNLIK).

From this SNLIK data, the government can prepare appropriate steps to increase financial literacy and inclusion in society. Of course, this aims to ensure that people are no longer trapped in economic difficulties due to incorrect financial management.

As we currently know, many people borrow from illegal online loan sites, even though the government already has official banks/financial institutions ready to help.

The Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province directly inspected the implementation of SNLIK in Bandingan Village, Kejobong District, Purbalingga Regency on Friday, January 31 2025.

Also present on the agenda was the OJK Purwokerto Team and the Head of BPS Purbalingga Regency to jointly ensure that the implementation of SNLIK met the established standards.
