Increase Understanding of GRDP Preparation with Workshops

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The increasing need for data means that the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is required to be more adaptive and agile in developing science, including in preparing economic balance sheets or what is usually called Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP).

Jawa Tengah Province BPS has held a workshop on Increasing Understanding of Regency/City GRDP Preparation in Jawa Tengah on January 14-17 2025. Opened directly by the Head of Jawa Tengah Province BPS, Endang Triwahyuningsih, this activity was carried out online via the Learning Management System platform

(LMS) Employee Competency Warung (Warkop) BPS Education and Training Center.

It is hoped that this activity can increase participants' understanding in preparing GRDP at both the provincial and district/city levels. Apart from that, this workshop activity can also increase understanding regarding GRDP rebasing with the latest methods that are more accurate, relevant and coherent.
