Joint Coordination with the Food Security Service

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - Food Balance is important data that displays the availability and need for food in a region at a certain time period. Therefore, the food balance is the data needed in preparing planning policies related to food security at both regional and national levels.

On Tuesday, December 31 2024, Jawa Tengah Province BPS received a visit from the Jawa Tengah Province Food Security Service. Located in the hall on the 5th floor of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, the Head of the Jawa Tengah Province Food Security Service, Dyah Lukisari, conveyed that the aim and purpose of this visit was to coordinate regarding a food balance preparation model that could be implemented effectively.

This visit was received directly by the Head of Jawa Tengah Province BPS, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih. In his speech, Endang said that this coordination was important to synchronize data and calculation methods so that they could produce accurate and relevant statistical information.
