SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS as the statistical data supervisor provides guidance to the organizers of statistical activities, both at the central government and regional government levels. This is done to increase the contribution and appreciation of the community towards statistics, develop the National Statistics System (SSN), and support national development. In this case, BPS as a statistical reference center acts as an initiator in coordination and cooperation as well as statistical guidance.
On Monday, August 19, 2024, the Head of BPS of Central Java Province, Endang Tri Wahyuniingsih attended and opened the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Sectoral Statistics Guidance and Launching of Beautiful Village in 2024 in the Loka Krida Room, Moch. Ichsan Building, Semarang City Hall. Present as speakers in this activity were the Head of BAPPEDA of Semarang City, Budi Prakosa, the Head of Diskominfo of Semarang City, Soenarto, and the Deputy Chairperson for Research at LPPM UNDIP, Firmansyah. In addition, the Mijen Sub-district Head and Tambangan Village Head as well as representatives from 34 Departments/OPDs throughout Semarang City were present.
In her remarks, Endang said that the key to the success of implementing sectoral statistics is the strong commitment of the leadership in realizing One Data Indonesia for Semarang City, increasing the capacity of human resources related to the management of sectoral statistical data, and collaboration and synergy with all stakeholders.
On this occasion, the Launching of Beautiful Villages/Kelurahan for Tambangan Village was also carried out and awards were given to 21 Departments/OPDs as contributors to sectoral data in the preparation of the Semarang City in Figures 2024 publication.
