Provincial Plenary in the Framework of Harmonizing EPSS Assessment Results

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - As an agency that fosters sectoral statistics, BPS of Central Java Province realizes Bureaucratic Reform (RB), One Data Indonesia, and a reliable, effective, efficient and collaborative National Statistics System by holding a Provincial Plenary activity in the Framework of Harmonizing the Results of the Evaluation of Sectoral Statistics Implementation (EPSS) in 2024. This effort was made to support the availability of quality data in government agencies.

Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, as the Head of BPS of Central Java Province in her speech, said that the purpose of EPSS is to measure the achievement of progress in the implementation of sectoral statistics, improve the quality of the implementation of sectoral statistics, and improve the quality of public services in the field of statistics. From these objectives, the output of the Statistical Development Index (IPS) will be obtained, which is an indicator of the General RB Evaluation and One Data Indonesia Assessment.

The activity held at Harris Hotel Sentraland Semarang on 13-14 August 2024 was attended by the Agency Assessment Team and the BPS Regency/City Sectoral Team as the supervisor of the Regional Government Organization (OPD) organizing statistical activities in each district/city. The commitment and contribution of all parties are the keys to success in the successful implementation of sectoral statistics. This activity is expected to align perceptions of assessment, as well as explore suggestions and input for continuous improvement. (HUMAS-Pris/Tro)
