Call for Central Java Province BPS Employees

BPS Central Java Province held an employee rally on Wednesday, July 17 2024 in the courtyard of the BPS Central Java Province office. The rally was attended by all Central Java Province BPS employees and representatives of district/city BPS employees in Central Java. Acting as supervisor of the meeting, Head of BPS Central Java Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih.

Endang delivered remarks from the Deputy for Methodology and Statistical Information. In this speech, it was stated that currently BPS is following the OECD (The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) Accession agenda. The OECD is an international organization that works to build evidence-based international standards and find solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges.

The leadership hopes that every work unit and technical team under it can play an active role, both through internal and external coordination, to make this OECD Accession a success. Apart from that, the leadership also hopes that the best practices and recommendations provided by the OECD can be implemented at BPS to improve the quality of the National Statistics System and ultimately have a positive impact on the development of Indonesia.
