The Business Characteristics Survey (SKU) will be carried out again by BPS Jawa Tengah Province in 2024. SKU is an integration of 3 (three) surveys, namely the Information and Communication Company Survey, the Information and Communication Technology Use and Utilization Survey and the Science, Technology and Innovation (Science and Technology and Innovation) Survey which has been carried out since 2019. This survey is expected to reduce the respondent burden ( respondent saturation) and can provide information regarding characteristics that greatly influence business development, including: Information and Communication Technology (ICT), R&D and Innovation, Sustainability, Digital Integration and Employment.
The coverage of this survey is all categories except categories A, U, T, and O and is spread across 18 (eighteen) sample districts/cities in Central Java Province. The districts/cities affected by the sample are Cilacap District, Banyumas District, Magelang District, Boyolali District, Klaten District, Sukoharjo District, Karanganyar District, Pati District, Kudus District, Jepara District, Semarang District, Kendal District, Pemalang District, Tegal District, Brebes Regency, Tegal City, Surakarta City and Semarang City.
Officer training was carried out on June 13-14 2024 to obtain reliable officers who understand the concepts and definitions of each variable in this survey. The training was carried out online in 2 (two) classes taught by 2 (two) National Instructors from BPS Jawa Tengah Province, namely Dwi Indriastuti Y, S.ST, M.M and Dyah Indah Rahmawati, S.ST.
